Why this is not a newspaper horoscope

The difference is not tone. It is three specific things that usually get skipped.

  1. 01

    No "roughly" in the maths

    Planets, houses, Ascendant and Midheaven are computed with the Swiss Ephemeris library, derived from NASA JPL data. Alongside them: essential dignities, house rulers, dispositor chains and aspect patterns — stellium, T-square, grand trine, yod.

  2. 02

    The time zone almost everyone gets wrong

    If you were born in London in January 1970, your birth time is UTC+1 — not GMT. Britain kept summer time straight through the winter from 1968 to 1971. Born in January 1972, same city, same clock on the wall, and it is UTC+0.

    An hour of error moves the Ascendant by up to a whole sign. That changes the entire chart, not a detail inside it.

    Text written for one chart

    No sentences that fit everybody. Sign, house, dispositor, aspects and dignity of a single planet are read as one story. Where factors contradict each other — the most revealing place in any chart — the conflict is named, not smoothed over.

Who is behind this

My name is Aleksandar Marković. There is no story here about a grandmother reading coffee grounds, and I did not grow up with astrology. I write software — for years, programs for the construction industry, a trade where no number is taken on trust until it has been measured.

I came to astrology from that side and ran straight into what probably bothers you too: everyone asserts something, and nobody shows you where the number came from.

The reason turned out to be dull and technical — the time zone. Serbia, where I live, had no daylight saving time between 1946 and 1982. Programs that do not know this subtract an hour that was never added. An hour of error moves the Ascendant between 11 and 27 degrees, depending on the month — enough to skip an entire sign. Among people born in that period it happens in 28.8% of cases.

So I wrote the calculation myself. It runs on the Swiss Ephemeris library, derived from the NASA JPL ephemerides — the same ones used to navigate spacecraft — and it knows the daylight-saving history of every country, year by year. Germany 1950–1979. Austria 1949–1979. France 1946–1975. Switzerland until 1981. Every number on this site was measured by that engine; not one was estimated.

Every report carries the chart wheel, the table of positions and the list of aspects with orbs. Not for decoration — so you can see what each statement rests on and check it wherever you like.

I answer for what you receive, by name and by contact. The data you leave is seen only by me. If something does not add up, write to me and I will correct it.

What people usually ask

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

Rectification: candidate times within a window are scored against 3–5 dated life events. If even that isn't possible, the chart is done without houses — Sun, Moon and aspects stay exact, and the report states plainly what is reliable and what is approximate.

How long does it take?

The deadline is 48 hours from payment. The natal chart, natal + year ahead and numerology usually arrive well before that — the calculation itself is instant. Synastry and timing are written by hand and use the full window.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer, agreed in the conversation before anything is delivered. You receive an itemised statement first. You pay once we've agreed exactly what is being done.

What happens to my data?

The free calculation is not stored — you type the details, the chart is computed and the answer comes back, without anything being written anywhere. When you order a reading, the data is kept because otherwise there is nothing to produce: name, contact, birth date, time and place, and the finished PDF. It sits on a server in France, inside the EU. It is shared only with Telegram (the order notification reaches me as a message) and Anthropic (to write the interpretation). Is this predicting the future?

No. Astrology is a symbolic language, not a science of events. What you get is a structure of tendencies and a window in which certain themes are emphasised — with the reasoning behind every conclusion shown. The decisions stay yours.
